Read more of my Tweets Here
| Twitter is kind of a mix of text messaging, instant messaging, and micro-blogging.
It allows you to post "tweets" of 140 characters about what you're doing and see what your "tweeps" (twitter people) are doing by reading their tweets. You can post tweets and follow other people's tweets from your twitter homepage, your mobile phone, or your Instant Messenger client. You can add an @ symbol to the front of someone's username when talking about them to link to their Twitter page, ie "@ericbidwell is running for mayor!", giving people an easy way to click through from your twitter page and see who you're talking about. You can also use it to privately message people like a typical instant messenger or text message by adding typing D + username + message, ie "d ericbidwell Congratulations for getting on the ballot!" ... and follow me at Twitter.Com/EricBidwell |
